The Sujata MG01 is a heavy-duty 1000-watt mixer grinder built around its motor. Ball bearings sit at both ends of the shaft instead of the usual bushes, and the winding is 100% copper. That combination is what lets it run for 90 minutes at a stretch and keep running for years without service. At around 25,000 RPM the job finishes fast, and less time under the blade means less heat in the food. That is why ground masala from a Sujata keeps its smell, and why chutney does not come out warm. It comes with three jars. The 1.75 litre unbreakable transparent liquidizer handles shakes, buttermilk, purees, cold coffee and lassi, and being clear you can see the consistency without opening the lid. The 1 litre stainless steel jar grinds dry as well as wet — spices, dals, batters, masalas and coffee beans. The 500 ml stainless steel chutney jar with safety locks is for pudina chutney, coconut chutney, ginger-garlic paste and imli paste. Blades are high-tensile stainless steel, machined at precise angles and set in metal couplers rather than plastic — the coupler is the part that usually breaks first on a cheaper mixer. Jars are self-aligning for safe locking, and the self-draining system stops water from collecting near the motor. Controls are a rotary speed knob with three speeds, plus a whipper button for momentary bursts. The handle is unbreakable polycarbonate with a proper grip. Spare parts are easily available and Sujata provides doorstep service. Warranty is 2 years.
